A leading medical technology company in Lombardy is seeking a Technical Writer. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and revising technical documentation while collaborating with design and production teams. A strong technical background and excellent writing skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a B2 level of English. This is a permanent contract position based in Seriate.

Position – Role required

GMM, General Medical Merate, in the perspective of an evolution that it is undertaking, is looking for a Technical Writer.

Job Description
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Collaborate with design teams to gather all necessary technical information (technical drawings, electrical schematics, user interface screens, etc.)
  • Create documentation, user manuals, and technical manuals for devices under development; revise documentation for modified equipment or produce custom versions for special orders
  • Work closely with design, production, and sales departments to ensure consistency between technical documentation and final product
  • Participate in lab testing and contribute to the creation of technical documentation for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Liaise with external translation teams and manage the production of manuals in various required languages
  • Handle document archiving throughout the entire product lifecycle
Experience And Skills

The ideal candidate has a technical background, has gained experience in companies producing industrial machinery and is able to manage technical documentation for projects with a high level of autonomy.

Excellent writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and good understanding of English (B2 level) are required.

Attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills complete the profile.
