A renewable energy company is seeking a Project Engineer in Milan, Italy. The role involves designing projects for PV and storage systems, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring project success. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in Italy. Strong project management and teamwork skills are essential, along with proficiency in tools such as Autocad and PVSys.

Job Description

The Project Engineer would have knowledge about preliminary projects for Access and connection projects (PV, PV + Storage system) and connection infrastructures.

Low, Medium and High voltage infrastructures knowledge

Also knowledge in project design (Drawings, Electrical calculation, BOQ, reports …)

Design Overhead lines, underground line, switching and transformer center and Substations knowledge

Leading and coordinating External Engineering for Renewable projects and interconnection infrastructures

He or She should work close with the development team

Additional is valuable experience in BESS project

Key responsibilities

• She or he will be responsable of the projec design, communications with other engineering companies.
• Coordinate and planning of the activity, achieving the policies defined by the company strategic plan.
• Supervise third party engineers co development and the potential improvements in each invetment oportuninity
• Evaluate the status of the projects during the development phase
• Realization with procurement and cost evaluation
• Effectively and professionally manages relation with all the companies involved (Engineerings, EPC, Modules manufacturerinvestor, developers, utilities, land owners...)

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor degree, electrical, civil or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in the same position in Italy
• Understanding of ‘greenfield’ development process for solar PV and storage projects (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting process, etc.). Good knowledge of associated engineering development costs
• Management – Good Project Management skills and Knowledge of Autocad, PVSys, google earth, IMEDEXA or Similar, Software for Substation basic design.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectives.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Any other language skills will be a plus but not mandatory
