Novelis cerca un Leader TCS a livello tecnico da inserire a Bresso (MI). Interfacciarsi con team tecnici del cliente per supportare tutto il ciclo di vita del prodotto, dall'ideazione alla industrializzazione e miglioramento continuo. Richiesta laurea magistrale e minimo 5 anni in contesti manifatturieri; ruolo ibrido con possibilità di lavoro da remoto parziale e viaggi limitati.

Competenze

• Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria dei Materiali, Chimica, Ingegneria Industriale o Metallurgia o discipline correlate.
• Almeno 5 anni in contesti di produzione, preferibilmente processi continui.
• Esperienza in ruoli tecnico-commerciali, sviluppo prodotto, qualità o ingegneria di processo.
• Conoscenza avanzata di tecnologie di rivestimento a bobina e sistemi di verniciatura.
• Buona comprensione della metallurgia dell'alluminio e dei processi di produzione.
• Mentalità collaborativa e capacità di lavorare con team internazionali.

• Guida sviluppo, negoziazione e mantenimento delle specifiche tecniche del cliente.
• Supporto sviluppo prodotto, qualificazione, validazione e miglioramento.
• Gestione delle relazioni tecniche con i clienti e punto di contatto principale per prestazioni/qualità.
• Guidare progetti tecnici traducendo tendenze di mercato in soluzioni innovative.
• Garantire coerenza delle prestazioni tra diverse fonti di metallo.
• Gestire la qualificazione e sorveglianza dei sistemi di verniciatura e fornitori.
• Collaborare con Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain e Commercial.
• Guidare la risoluzione di problemi di qualità (8D).

Technical Service Representative

Responsabilità e qualifiche

The Technical Customer Service (TCS) Leader plays a critical role in ensuring effective collaboration between customers' technical teams and the Novelis organization. Acting as the key technical interface, the role supports the entire product lifecycle, from specification development and product design through industrialization, delivery excellence, continuous product improvement, and identification of new business opportunities.

As a TCS Leader, you will drive technical partnerships with customers while ensuring Novelis solutions consistently meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the development, negotiation, and maintenance of customer technical specifications, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and Novelis capabilities.
• Support the development, qualification, validation, and continuous improvement of products, including metal characteristics, coating systems, and surface properties.
• Manage technical customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for product performance and quality-related topics.
• Lead technical projects and product enhancement initiatives, translating market trends, customer feedback, and commercial opportunities into innovative solutions.
• Ensure consistent product performance across multiple metal sources within the Novelis network and external suppliers, enabling flexibility in metal routing while safeguarding quality standards.
• Drive the qualification and monitoring of coating systems, paint suppliers, and chemical products, ensuring compliance with regulations, sustainability requirements, and security of supply.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure customer expectations are fully understood and successfully delivered.
• Lead quality issue resolution processes, including customer claims management, root cause analysis, 8D investigations, and implementation of sustainable corrective actions.
• Support master data management and other technical-administrative activities related to customer and product management.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through technical innovation and strategic customer engagement.

How you convince us

• Master's degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within continuous process industries.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, product development, quality, or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of coil coating technologies and coating systems and background in coatings, paints, and surface treatment processes.
• Solid understanding of aluminum metallurgy and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with new product development, product validation, and industrial qualification processes.
• Familiarity with quality management tools, including root cause analysis and 8D methodology.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer orientation and relationship-building capabilities.
• Italian native, English fluent

Nice-to-have

• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably AS400
• German fluent

Compensation packaging

The annual compensation for this position is 47,000- 52,000 euro with additional benefits and variable compensation where applicable (e.g. bonuses, incentive plan, MBO).

The compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experiences, qualifications and level of responsibility.
