A leading industrial machinery manufacturer in Italy is seeking a Telehandler Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services for construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving skills. This full-time role involves both on-site and remote customer support, with travel requirements within Italy and potentially abroad.

We are seeking experienced Telehandler Service Engineers to join our team in Italy. As a Telehandler Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to dealers for technical problems and maintenance services for SANY’s systems construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. It will be customer-focused and results-driven. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks and scheduled services to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment.
  • Customer Support: Provide on‑site and remote technical assistance to customers, dealers, and internal teams.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment status.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all service work meets or exceeds SANY’s quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on existing products and contribute to the improvement of new designs.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in maintenance system and repair, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing, understanding of electrical systems, and familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and any relevant certifications in heavy equipment.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software systems.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally internationally as needed.
