Replika is seeking a Technical SEO & GEO Specialist to own organic growth across web and app stores. You will fix technical SEO issues on replika.com, optimize ASO on App Store & Google Play, and drive conversions through optimized listings and experiments.

You will work with the content and product teams to build pages people search for, lead GEO strategies, and roll out localization that boosts brand visibility—remote, CET hours, with a 3-month contract and potential extension.

About this role

People find Replika in three places: Google, the app stores, and more and more, AI assistants. When someone asks for an AI companion, Replika should be the answer in all three. Right now nobody owns that work end to end. You will.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll help set our organic strategy across web, app stores and AI answers, then do the work yourself: fix the site, ship the pages, run the store listings, and get Replika recommended when someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini for an app like ours. No agency layer, no handing it off.

Your number is organic revenue. The goal is to grow it 2% every month through June 2027, and keep it compounding after that.

3-month contract position, with the opportunity to extend or convert to permanent.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own technical SEO for replika.com. Crawling, indexing, site speed, structured data, internal linking, and whatever else is holding our pages back.

• Own ASO on the App Store and Google Play. Most new mobile users find us through a store search, so this matters as much as the web. Titles, subtitles, keyword fields and short descriptions for every localization that counts, chosen on real search volume and rank, not guesswork.

• Make the listings convert. Screenshots, preview video, custom product pages for our top search terms, in-app events, Play Store listing experiments and ratings. Test them and keep what wins.

• Get every change through review. Our category gets close scrutiny from App Review and Google Play, and you’ll know the guidelines well enough to grow reach without putting a release at risk.

• Own GEO (generative engine optimization). Make Replika the app ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews name and recommend when someone asks for an AI companion. Track how often we’re cited and how we’re described, find the sources those answers draw on, and change what they say: our own pages, structured data, comparison lists, reviews and community threads.

• Build the pages people are searching for. Plan feature and comparison pages with our content writer, ship them, and measure what they bring in.

• Set the roadmap and run it. Decide what matters most each month, ship it, and report what moved and what didn’t.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on SEO experience for a consumer product, with results you can show in traffic and revenue, not just rankings.

• Strong technical SEO. You can read a crawl, fix a template and make changes in the CMS or codebase without waiting on an engineer.

• Proven GEO results. On a recent project you grew how often a brand gets named and recommended in AI answers, and you can show the before and after. This isn’t a role to learn GEO in. You’ve already done it and it worked.

• Proven ASO results on both the App Store and Google Play: keyword and metadata work that moved rankings and installs, and listing tests that lifted conversion, ideally across several localizations.

• Comfortable with data. Search Console, analytics, App Store Connect and Play Console, an ASO tool like AppTweak, and building your own reports when nobody else will.

• You shape the strategy and do the implementation yourself.

• Excellent written English.
