Your opportunity

The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of tunnel machines (including pasteurizers, bottle washers, warmers, and coolers) within the beverage and food processing industries. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to provide tailored solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with Sidel’s product portfolio and strategic objectives.

Your Mission
  • Driving sales growth and market penetration of tunnel machines (including pasteurizers, bottle washers, warmers, and coolers) within the beverage and food processing industries. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to provide tailored solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with Sidel’s product portfolio and strategic objectives;
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for tunnel machines in alignment with the Tunnel product roadmap;
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborate with key accounts, and maintain strong sales force relationships;
  • Provide technical consultation to sales force, understanding customer process requirements and recommending optimal solutions;
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, support proposals and quotations preparation;
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and positioning;
  • Support contract negotiations and contribute to the overall growth of the Tunnel business.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Food Science or equivalent experience;
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the packaging, beverage, or food processing industries;
  • Knowledge of tunnel machines (pasteurizers, bottle washers, warmers, coolers) and related processes is a plus;
  • Excellent communication, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team;
  • Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel as required.
