wpd windmanager in Rome is seeking a Technical Manager (m/f/d) to oversee wind farm operations, coordinate on-site work with service providers and authorities, and prepare reports for clients and local authorities.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, 1–2 years of experience, and proficient English, with skills in MS Office and SharePoint. A driving license is required; safety training is a plus.

As Technical Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the following tasks in the future:

• Analysis and monitoring of wind farm operations.
• Coordination of on-site work with various service providers and/or regulatory authorities.
• Preparation of various reports, including for local authorities, clients, etc.
• Control and implementation of management systems.
• Taking part in regular on-site inspections

YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE THESE STRENGTHS TO US

• Completed and certified academic studies, including a University Degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of renewable energy industry and technical aspects of wind power.
• Advanced spoken and written English. (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in software and technology (MS Office, SharePoint).
• Valid Class B driver’s license.
• Ability to work at heights, GWO courses, first aid, and training for work on energized installations are a plus.

• You are independent, proactive, and structured in your work.
• You are motivated and quick to learn how to use specialized software.
• You work well with multidisciplinary teams and maintain a professional attitude with all colleagues.
• You are willing to work flexible hours and travel to field sites.
• You handle pressure well.
• Based in or near the city of Rome
