Team Lead (Software Background) in Barcelona or Remote

The Role🤔

As a Team Lead, you will be pivotal in driving the delivery and growth of your team. You will be responsible for not only your own accountability but also for cultivating a culture of accountability within your team. While technical proficiency is essential, your primary focus will be on leadership, team alignment, and professional development. This role is a blend of technical understanding and strong people management skills, with an emphasis on empowering your team to achieve their best.

• Take full ownership of the team's delivery and establish a culture of accountability.
• Ensure clear understanding of project goals, scope, and domain across the team, providing necessary tools and information.
• Align with the Tech Director and other Team Leads to communicate and implement a shared strategy.
• Proactively address and resolve conflicts between team members or stakeholders.
• Conduct regular check-ins and 1:1 meetings, delivering constructive feedback and assisting with career growth.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, and provide fair performance reviews.
• Anticipate and remove blockers, collaborate with Product Owners and Designers, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Foster a culture of team empowerment, autonomy, and prioritize delivery and quality.
