You'll design and integrate Automated Ground Lighting (AGL) systems, generate documentation, and collaborate with the engineering team. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in electrical design and system integration, along with proficiency in CAD software, especially 2D. This role emphasizes innovation and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

System Engineer Mission

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic people with the passion to support our vision and help to change the future of aviation. We are now offering a fascinating position as a System Engineer.

The System Engineer will contribute to the design, realization and lifecycle management of complex systems for managing the visual aids of airports.

Responsibilities

You are accountable for AGL system design and system integration according to aviation standards, together with other system engineering team members.

You support the bidding team in documentation analysis and definition of technical proposal, for lights positioning, signs and layout.

You assist other system engineering team members in AGL design and layout in project phase.

You generate and maintain project documentation such as system architecture diagram, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, AGL layout.

You design and release to production the airport signs.

You propose harmonization and standardization of system engineering project documentation.

You support the system engineering team to maintain up to date working SW tools.

Essential Functions
System Engineering team Support

Assist the team in the definition of airport AGL layout aligned with aviation standards and customer specifications.

Provide complete documentation about airport signs compliant to customer requirements.

Contribute to the preparation of detailed technical submittal packages for complex projects, ensuring clarity, compliance to the standard and alignment with customer requirements.

Communicate task status effectively and promptly to team members and stakeholders.

Administrative

Generate and maintain technical documentation, including AGL layout, mechanical / electrical drawings, signs drawings during project lifecycle.

Collaborate with R&D team to keep alignment on OCEM products.

Leadership

Develop and implement best practices and tools to enhance project delivery and product support effectiveness.

Be a reference for aviation standards application on airport layout.

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma in Industrial Technology with electrical specialization or Bachelor degree in electrical engineering.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical products, electrical system industries or engineering companies is mandatory.

Professional experience in electrical design, system integration or installation is preferable.

Proven expertise and hands‑on experience with mechanical 2D CAD is mandatory.

Knowledge of mechanical 3D CAD or electrical CAD is considered an advantage.

Experience in airport technology is not mandatory, though a strong interest in this field is highly valued.

Knowledge of aviation standards is considered an asset.

Experience in the continuous and integrated use of generative artificial intelligence tools is mandatory for this role.

Strong interest in and commitment to continuously learning new technologies is key to success in the role.

Flexibility, proactive mindset, and collaborative approach are essential skills for success in this position.

Fluent English proficiency is a must, additional languages are considered a plus.
