Una società di ingegneria ferroviaria sta cercando un ingegnere di sistemi da inserire nel team di ingegneria per attività di sviluppo e integrazione dei sistemi ETCS a bordo. Il candidato ideale ha una laurea in ingegneria, 2 anni di esperienza in ambito ferroviario e conoscenze delle normative europee. La posizione richiede capacità di lavorare autonomamente e in team, con disponibilità a brevi trasferte nazionali e internazionali.

Competenze

• Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica o Elettronica è fondamentale.
• 2 anni di esperienza in ingegneria dei sistemi per sistemi a bordo.
• Conoscenza delle normative europee in ambito ferroviario richieste.

Mansioni

• Identificare e analizzare la documentazione e i requisiti.
• Creare specifiche di requisiti e architetture a livello di sistema.
• Interfacciarsi con clienti e altri partner.

Position Mission

In the aim of expanding the ETCS On Board System Engineering Team, AngelStar is looking for a candidate to work in the system engineering activities for the ETCS OBU development and integration with country-specific ATP systems as well as in projects for the specific application of ETCS on-board systems into rail vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and analysing the input documentation and Customer/generally applicable requirements;
• Identifying the functions, the architecture and the interfaces of the on board signalling system being the transportation standard in Italy and all over Europe
• Creation of concepts, system requirements specifications and architectures at system/subsystem level
• Designing the system and its configuration, developing the relevant documentation;
• Interfacing the Customer and the other partners;
• Participating to the meetings with development team of AngelStar and other partner;
• Applying processes, methods & tool in accordance to AngelStar standards;
• Carrying out the system integration activities in lab and on field.
• Supporting laboratory tests and on-site activities.

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience

• Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience of at least 2 years in the railway industry preferably with the role of Systems Engineer and/or Designer focused on Board Systems.
• Basic knowledge of the disciplines related to the On Board Systems design: applicable norms, ETCS OBU function and architecture, European Technical Standards.
• Knowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business.
• Related knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of the IBM DOORS requirements management tool.
• Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the attitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.
• Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.
• Ability to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required.
• Availability for short-term national and international business trip.
