We are currently looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a Security Operations team based in Ispra, Italy. The role involves managing and securing IT systems and networks, combining daily operations with participation in strategic projects related to cybersecurity and infrastructure management.

Main responsibilities

• Support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems and servers.
• Implement and manage network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS).
• Handle vulnerability detection, incident response, and remediation processes.
• Collaborate on infrastructure and security improvement projects.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and compliance with security standards.

Required skills and experience

• Expert knowledge of firewall technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, VMware NSX).
• Proficiency in VPN standards (IPSec, SSL).
• Experience with IDS / IPS and vulnerability management tools (Tenable Nessus, Tenable Security Center).
• Strong background in Windows Server / Active Directory administration.
