SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST - Subcontracting SEET

As the Subcontracting Category Specialist for Southern and Eastern Europe & Turkey (SEET), you will play a strategic role in managing subcontracted field services across the region. These services include the installation of new equipment (elevators and escalators), maintenance, repairs, and other outsourced job site activities.

Your mission is to optimize cost, quality, capacity, safety, and compliance, while fostering strong, long‑term partnerships with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate subcontracting strategy across the SEET Operating Unit, covering Italy, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Slovenia, and Turkey.
  • Manage subcontracted activities including : Installation of elevators and escalators, Field service and repairs, other outsourced job site services
  • Analyze supplier and category landscapes to identify regional variations and opportunities.
  • Contribute to maintain and implement strategies to optimize total cost of ownership, capacity, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with EHS and field operations teams to ensure alignment with internal policies and local / global regulations.
  • Support the deployment of global subcontracting strategies and promote supplier synergies across SEET.
  • Continuously challenge existing processes and propose innovative improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust Subcontractor Relationship Management (SRM) framework.
  • Coordinate sourcing plans for Major Projects and support strategic tenders (3–5 annually).
  • Drive the annual savings plan and project roadmap; monitor progress and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Apply preferred supplier strategies and negotiate framework agreements.
  • Deploy existing digital tools an Pricing modele to manage labor rates
  • Improve forecasting methods and negotiate with subcontractors to secure capacity.
  • Support the development and enforcement of field purchasing policies and standards.
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience, ideally in subcontracting procurement within the construction or industrial services sector.Able to work in a matrixed organization with cross‑functional leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑driven approach.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Solid understanding of market trends, supplier ecosystems, and digital procurement tools.
  • Travel requirements : 25–35% travel across the SEET region
