A global agribusiness company is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives and ensure supplier compliance. You will conduct supplier audits, drive improvement efforts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and relevant technical experience. This role involves a considerable amount of onsite work at the Breganze site and offers attractive benefits including competitive remuneration and health insurance.

Supplier Quality Engineer (fixed term contract)

The Supplier Quality Engineer will lead supplier quality initiatives to ensure compliance with AGCO quality standards and customer expectations. Oversee supplier performance, resolve quality issues, and drive improvement. Conduct supplier qualifications, including audits and technical reviews. Implement APQP in NPI to achieve "Right First Time" PPAP targets.

Your Impact
  • Coordinate the supplier qualification and approval processes, including overseeing on-site audits and technical reviews.
  • Drive systematic APQP during NPI part development, ensuring teams exceed Supplier TR and PPAP "Right First Time" targets.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve supplier quality performance, including NCR, PPM, and RFT metrics, and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Champion problem-solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers to eliminate repeat quality failures.
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Quality, Assembly, Production, Technical Service and Supplier Recovery teams, coordinating efforts to eliminate warranty failures and ensuring resolution strategies are effective.
Your Experience and Qualifications
  • Good English communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred
  • A plus is technical experience in one or more of the areas metal fabrication, welding processes, hydraulic components, castings & forging, axles, wheels & tires, engines, cooling systems, bearings, transmissions, plastics & resins, rubber, electrics & electronics
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and measurement techniques
  • Experience in driving cross-functional business processes and leading supply chain quality improvement efforts and 40-50% of travel

Note: The successful candidate will initially be hired through an agency.
