A global organization in Lazio is seeking a motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier quality and ensure compliance with technical standards. You will conduct audits, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry. Excellent English skills and a results-oriented mindset are essential.

Competenze

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D methodologies.
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools.

Mansioni

  • Qualify and monitor suppliers according to undercarriage standards.
  • Manage non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive action.
  • Perform process and product audits of suppliers.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production and internal Quality teams.

Supplier Quality Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our supply chain performance.

In this role, you will manage supplier quality, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards, conducting audits, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

What you will do
  • Qualify and monitor suppliers according to undercarriage standards;
  • Manage non-conformities and implement corrective / preventive action;
  • Perform process and product audits and suppliers
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production and internal Quality teams;
  • Analyze quality data and prepare periodic reports;
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Management Engineering (or equivalent);
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive industry;
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D methodologies;
  • Understanding of foundry, forging, and machining processes;
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written);
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools;
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
