A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking a Structural Engineer to ensure the integrity of offshore structures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering and at least 8 years of experience. Responsibilities include providing technical support for construction and compliance with international standards. This is an on-site role based in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

• Overall technical integrity of offshore structure design premises. design and marine structures behaviour
• Offshore structure compliance with international standards, COMPANY guidelines and Engineering best practices
• Technical support to Offshore structure Construction and installation Key activities :
• Design premises definition of offshore structures
• Definition and specification of geotechnical and geophysical surveys
• Definition and specification of met-oceanographic surveys and / or studies.
• Offshore structures (fixed / floating) layout definition
• Internal design of offshore structures
• Subcontracted design of structures supervision
• Structural material selection and specification
• ITT preparation and bid technical evaluation
• Planning. review and follow-up of structure construction. transportation and installation
• Structures cost and schedule estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Structural Engineering from an accredited university
• Work experience of eight (8) years in the field of the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree
• EU Nationals or those with a valid Visa / Work Permit
