Job summary

Oneworks is seeking a BIM Specialist (Structure) to join our Venice team. You will create complete digital models, model structural concrete and steel elements, and contribute to project meetings with architects, engineers and consultants across infrastructure sectors.

The role requires a Master Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, at least 1 year of experience, and strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Dynamo. A flexible, proactive attitude and lifelong learning are valued.)

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• At least 1 year working experience in the engineering field.
• Ability to read technical documents.
• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit and ability to create and manipulate Revit families.
• Knowledge of structural parametric design environment.
• Professional certification of Autodesk Revit Structure is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dynamo.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, Nemetschek Solibri and Trimble Tekla is a plus.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel).
• Professional English knowledge in speaking, reading and writing.
• Problem solving and adaptability.
• Eager to improve design process efficiency through new digital technologies and innovations.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team.
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, lifelong learning.

Responsibilities

• Create complete digital models (geometries and information).
• Modelling structural concrete and steel elements.
• Reinforcement modelling experience is a plus.
• Steel joints modelling.
• Information management and data extraction from models.
• Drawings editing.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings.
