A leading consulting firm in Italy is seeking a candidate to support the development of its strategy across Growth, Innovation, and Operational Excellence. Responsibilities include preparing strategic plans, supporting project execution, and providing market intelligence. The ideal candidate should have a degree in economics or finance, with 2-3 years of experience in strategy or management consulting, and strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Competenze

  • 2–3 years of experience in international companies focusing on strategic topics.
  • Prior experience in corporate strategy or management consulting preferred.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.

Mansioni

  • Prepare 3-5 year strategic plan in collaboration with key company functions.
  • Support planning and execution of strategic projects.
  • Prepare reports on market trends and customer insights.

Descrizione del lavoro

Reporting to the Strategy & Business Development Manager, the candidate will have the primary function to support the development of the strategy along 3 pillars (Growth, Innovation and Operational Excellence) that ensure the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of 3-5 years strategic plan in cooperation with main company functions (sales, R&D, operations, etc);
  • Support planning, modeling & execution of strategic projects (like new product launch, new market entry, etc);
  • Act as the team’s main point of contact for market intelligence, preparing reports on market trends, customer insights, competitor analysis, and internal newsletters;
  • Assist in analysis and presentation development for the company leadership team ;
  • Contribute to M&A activities by identifying potential targets, screening new opportunities, developing profiles and business cases, supporting due diligence, and preparing financial models and presentations.
Your Profile
  • Degree in economics, management or finance is preferred;
  • Very good English is a must;
  • Highly motivated, self-starter;
  • Curious & willing to learn new things, able to jump on different topics & i nteract with different functions ;
  • Ability to set priorities and manage own time and work to meet deadlines;
  • Good communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts in a concise way;
  • 2–3 years of experience in international companies , with a strong focus on strategic topics and financial modeling. Prior experience in corporate strategy or management consulting is preferred;
  • Good presentation skills , able to prepare presentations for top management focused on key messages;
  • Strong analytical and excel modeling skills , able to analyze complex data sources (structured or unstructured).
