Littelfuse, a global industrial technology company, is seeking a Strategic Project Buyer to drive purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization across multiple markets. The role requires experience in large multinational environments and a strong sourcing mindset.

The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, analyze quotations, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and optimal terms for materials, parts, and services.

Competenze

• 3-4 years in a similar strategic procurement role within large multinationals.
• Automotive industry experience is a strong plus.
• Background in production companies with exposure to R&D activities.
• Project management experience is a plus.

• Purchase materials, parts, and services following established policies and procedures.
• Analyse supplier quotations and lead negotiations for pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier reviews and pricing analysis.

As a Strategic Project Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and services in line with company policies and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing, optimal delivery terms, and strong supplier relationships, while supporting operational continuity and cost efficiency across the business.

About the Job:

• Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures.
• Analyse supplier quotations and lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, delivery, and commercial terms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier reviews and pricing analysis.
• Manage pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm delivery schedules.
• Execute purchasing activities accurately and efficiently to support business requirements.

About You:

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in large multinational companies; automotive industry experience is considered a strong plus.
• Background in production companies is mandatory, ideally with exposure to R&D-related activities.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• SAP knowledge is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in Italian is mandatory; good command of English is required for daily communication.
