ABB is seeking a Global Head of IS Enterprise Architecture to define and govern ABB's enterprise-wide application architecture. You will ensure coherent evolution of application landscapes while enabling business units and product teams to retain autonomy in building and running applications.

In this role you will establish guardrails, target states, and decision frameworks for architecture, focusing on modularity, lifecycle management, interoperability and alignment to ABB's business

Competenze

• 10+ years in application or enterprise architecture roles in large, decentralized, or federated organizations.
• Proven track record in application modernization and portfolio rationalization.
• Experience influencing architecture without direct delivery ownership.
• Expertise in architecture patterns (monolith, microservices, modular monoliths), SaaS and COTS integration, domain-led design and capability mapping, lifecycle management and multi-cloud environments.
• Executive-level communication and storytelling.
• Ability to balance enterprise consistency with local setup.
• Comfortable in facilitating trade-offs across cost, speed, and risk.
