FUCHS LUBRICANTS CO. in Italy is seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. You will manage purchasing for assigned categories, create and monitor POs, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for assigned categories and suppliers.
• Create and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and support negotiations.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
• Support inventory optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze purchasing data and contribute to cost-saving opportunities.
