Description

Join the dynamic Marketing Team with an interesting internship and work under the guidance of the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director assisting in the execution of the annual Marketing plan in line with the hotels strategic priorities and revenue target by market segments.

The role reports directly to the Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Team oversees the two properties on Piazza Ognissanti: The St. Regis Florence and The Excelsior a Luxury Collection Hotel Florence respectively, including F&B venues as Winter Garden Bar & Restaurant, Café Ginori and Donatello Bar Cosimo rooftop restaurant and bar.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Brand Activation and Messaging: Under MM and DOM guidance focus on activating the brand through hotel messaging, special events, and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
  • Local Market Positioning and F&B Activities: Support MM and F&B MKT Supervisor in positioning F&B outlets in the local market and executing promotional activities as well as events to engage both locals and in‑house guests.
  • Sales Team and PR: Provide support to the sales team in creating marketing collateral and connecting with local and national PR teams as needed.
  • Content Creation: Support MKT Team in executing planning and organizing photo‑shooting, coordinating external agencies, suppliers and internal teams, being attentive to details and thinking social‑media oriented.
  • Compliance and Positioning: Ensure full compliance with Marriott International standards while executing marketing initiatives, rebranding and positioning projects.
REVENUE GENERATION & SALES SUPPORT
  • Collaborate with the cluster marketing and sales team to drive rooms revenue, develop new on‑brand collateral and packages, create pre‑stay marketing messages, respond to sales forecasts, optimize digital channels, update hotel website content and sales platforms and utilize internal sales channels effectively.
DIGITAL
  • Digital Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Field team to deliver multi‑lingual tactical marketing campaigns, execute social media strategies, measure impact, manage website content and coordinate OTA updates.
  • Brand Reputation and Visibility: Support the Marketing Team in maintaining brand reputation through online reputation management, social media planning, and monitoring guest engagement quality checks on websites and monitoring and responding to reputation review sites.
CONTENT CREATION & COLLATERALS
  • Support the Marketing Team in content creation including copywriting and photo/video shoots ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and hotel positioning. Additionally assist in planning, developing, and executing photo/video shoots, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, virtual tours, lifestyle and architectural shoots and scouting authentic content creators.
  • Utilize graphic design tools and corporate templates to create marketing materials ensuring brand compliance and consistency. Additionally support the MM in developing gifting collections and ensure all hotel teams are proficient with brand standards for in‑house designs.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bilingual proficiency in Italian and English with strong communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Energy, enthusiasm and a can‑do attitude essential.
  • Self‑starter and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi‑task and handle heavy workload.
  • Ability to work in teams and to communicate effectively.
  • Graphic skills with Microsoft Office, Canva, InDesign are a must. Photography, Photoshop and Lightroom skills are a plus.
