If you are a young talent looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting 6-month internship opportunity for you. Based at Vanessa, an Emerson company in Lugagnano Val d'Arda (PC), you will support Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation initiatives by working on real business projects, analyzing data, improving processes, and contributing to innovative digital solutions.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support the analysis of business processes to identify improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and IT teams to understand business needs and support digital initiatives.
• Assist in translating operational requirements into process maps, functional specifications, and project documentation.
• Contribute to project planning, tracking activities, stakeholder coordination, and progress reporting.
• Support testing, validation, deployment, and user adoption activities for new digital solutions.
• Collect, organize, clean, and analyze data from different business systems and databases.
• Assist in the creation of reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to support decision‑making.
• Participate in initiatives related to Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, advanced analytics, and AI‑driven solutions.
• Contribute to innovation projects supporting Emerson’s digital manufacturing and Smart Factory journey.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Operational Excellence, digital transformation, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence working with data.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Good English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Academic projects, thesis work, internships, or extracurricular activities related to manufacturing, operations, digital transformation, or process improvement.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• Interest in Industry 4.0, Smart Factory technologies, advanced analytics, or Artificial Intelligence applications.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, Agile methodologies, or continuous improvement approaches.

This 6-month internship offers a monthly reimbursement ranging from €500 to €800, based on your educational background and qualifications, along with free access to our company cafeteria.
