Renesas Electronics in Catania, Italy is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to advance ATE test development for new products in the PCP unit. You will work hands‑on on ATE hardware, test programs, debugging and data analysis to enable smooth product bring‑up and ramp.

The role requires 5–8+ years of experience, proficiency with ATE platforms, DFT knowledge and strong problem‑solving abilities, with collaboration across Design, Product Engineering and Operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• 5–8+ years of experience in ATE test engineering or related field.
• Experience with ATE platforms (Advantest 93K, Teradyne, SPEA, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of DFT concepts and production test flows.
• Experience in debugging analog and mixed-signal systems.

Mansioni

• Develop and support ATE test programs and hardware for analog, mixed‑signal and power management products.
• Contribute to test plan definition and implementation, ensuring coverage and efficiency.
• Execute product bring‑up, characterization and validation activities.
• Perform debug and failure analysis on ATE and bench setups.
• Analyze test data to improve yield, repeatability and test robustness.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering and Operations teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support production ramp and sustaining activities.
• Contribute to test cost optimization and test time reduction initiatives.
• Follow and apply established DFT and test methodologies.
