Hawk-Eye Innovations is seeking a Football Tracking Systems Technician to join our team on a freelance basis in Italy, with on-site assignments at Firenze stadiums. The role involves preparing tracking systems (EPTS/GLT) and monitoring them during matches, with travel across Italy and potentially Europe.

Mansioni

• Prepare the tracking systems at the stadium and monitor them during the match (EPTS and GLT).
• Check fibre connections and resolve issues as needed.
• Link EPTS room with GLT/VAR van via networks .2 and .3.
• Set up and test Dante communication with Replay Operator and VTG onsite.
• Confirm system functioning with EPTS and GLT Remote Support; troubleshoot as needed.
• Calibrate GLT before matches and perform required tests.
• Monitor system during referees' test and adjust as necessary.
• Assist with colorimetry correction of Ultra Motion cameras on the goal line.
• Upload data after matches and support VTG/GLT disassembly activities.
