A leading biopharmaceutical company is looking for a Sr Medical Advisor in Milano, Lombardia. This role involves developing educational materials, managing clinical studies, and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, strong scientific backgrounds, and fluency in both Italian and English. The position requires approximately 40% travel within Italy and offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation in rare diseases.

Competenze

As a Sr Medical Advisor Meta Plus, you'll be at the forefront of scientific and medical support, engaging with customers at various levels and collaborating with the country team. Your expertise will guide the development of educational materials and promotional activities, ensuring compliance with Alexion policies and country regulations.

Accountabilities:

• Identify, map, and develop Key Opinion Leaders, fostering strong scientific relationships.
• Manage medical plans, local clinical studies, observational studies, and diagnostic screenings/projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain scientific expertise in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Stay informed about local laws, guidelines, codes of practice, and Alexion policies related to promotional materials and educational programs.
• Create educational materials for internal and external initiatives.
• Deliver medical presentations to customers on-site.
• Support pharmacovigilance teams in managing medical issues related to adverse events.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional messages and customized projects.
• Provide scientific support for the development, review, and approval of presentation materials for scientific meetings and symposia.
• Represent Alexion at local meetings for educational purposes and information gathering.
• Assist the TA Lead in providing medical training to the sales force.
• Participate in activities managed by professional organizations for personal development.
• Support the TA Lead in reviewing promotional material according to local regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Strong Solid Scientific Background (Scientific Degree/PhD)
• At least 3 years' experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Orphan diseases knowledge/experience is a definite plus
• Sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and protocols development
• Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical/scientific literature
• Strong relational attitude to keep solid scientific collaboration internally and externally
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Italian and English (a must-have), both written and spoken, adaptive to a variety of counterparts from Top Management to more operational colleagues to global/international teams
• Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate and drive complex projects through the matrix
• Ease in cross functional context and ability to build team relationship and collaborate in a global environment at all levels of the organization
• Availability for National travelling (40% of time)
• Domicile in Lombardy
