As a n Import Export Sr. Analyst position You will be a part of Lenovo’s Global Import Export Compliance team and support the EMEA Import Export teams.
Responsibilities
- A working knowledge of and ability to apply laws and regulations related to global trade compliance is required with focus in Italy
- Support the EMEA Import Export Sr. Manager and the EMEA Import Export Team with customs requests
- Support Customs / Intrastat audits for the all BU in Italy and in EMEA region
- Support Tax audits in Italy
- Manage the Intrastat reports in Italy with Intrastat Service provider and local authorities.
- Provide day to day assistance to business units on compliance with Customs and other government agencies.
- Execute import / export compliance activities such as commodity jurisdictions, product classifications,
- D2D customs operational issues take care that all documents, invoices, freight documents, Packaging list, T1 are compliant for customs clearance).
- Provide Product (HTS) classification in SAP system
- Archiving and record keeping of customs related documents
- D2D operational contact with broker, carrier, authorities and internal Lenovo departments
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience in Customs
- Strong background in Import / Export and Intrastat
- MBA education in Logistics, Customs or similar field
- Italian language as native language; English language on fluent level
