Join Delaware Schools Consortium seeks an Elementary School Special Education teacher to support students with disabilities and provide emotional support through the S.T.R.I.V.E. program.

The role emphasizes individualized instruction, collaboration with families, and compliant record-keeping. Ideal candidates hold or are eligible for Delaware licensure in Special Education or Teacher of Students with Autism/Severe Disabilities, with experience in autism or severe disabilities and strong

Competenze

• Experience with students with autism and/or severe disabilities.
• Ability to motivate and build relationships with students and parents to promote achievement.
• Experience in classroom management, organization, planning and instructional delivery.

Mansioni

• Develop daily and unit lesson plans aligned with standards and integrate technology.
• Plan for substitute teachers and ensure continuity of instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behavior and complete progress reports.
• Provide clear feedback and maintain high expectations for student learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with staff.
