About the Role
We are seeking a confident and results-driven Spa Manager to lead the operations of an exclusive luxury hotel spa in the heart of Milan’s fashion district.
The ideal candidate is not simply a manager but a true leader in service excellence; someone who embodies excellence, discipline, and grace, capable of orchestrating a seamless guest journey in an environment where every detail matters.
You will lead a team of therapists, receptionists, and beauty professionals, ensuring an atmosphere of calm efficiency and flawless service that reflects the prestige of the location.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Operations – Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Spa, ensuring smooth processes, impeccable service standards, and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage and motivate a team of 4–5 therapists and 3 receptionists, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Work closely with the Technical Director (Beauty & Make-up Artist) to ensure perfect execution of treatments and beauty protocols.
- Organize staff schedules, manage priorities, and ensure operational excellence in line with guest demand and business objectives.
- Guest Experience – Guarantee an outstanding and personalized guest experience from arrival to post-treatment; anticipate client needs, handle feedback with empathy and precision, and resolve issues swiftly and gracefully; continuously seek ways to elevate the guest journey.
- Partnerships & Brand Synergy – Collaborate with the Director of Operations to align the Spa’s activities with the broader business strategy; build and nurture partnerships with premium wellness, beauty, and lifestyle brands, enriching the Spa’s offering with unique initiatives.
- Develop monthly wellness programs and seasonal activations that integrate with the hotel’s gym and F&B experiences.
- Business & Administration – Manage Spa budgets, monitor KPIs and ensure profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality; oversee product inventory, supplier relations, and procurement of premium materials and treatments; prepare reports and performance reviews for management, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Your Profile
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Spa Manager or Assistant Manager within 5-star hotels or high-end wellness centers.
- Deep knowledge of spa treatments, beauty rituals and operational protocols in luxury hospitality.
- Proven experience leading diverse teams with both authority and emotional intelligence.
Skills
- Natural leadership, ability to inspire and maintain high performance under pressure.
- Excellent client service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of spa operations and financial performance.
- Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.
