Overview

As a Solution Advisor Senior Specialist for SAP Cloud ERP Finance, you will influence the cloud transformation journeys of Italy’s leading enterprises. You will engage directly with CFOs, Finance Leaders, and transformation teams, shaping their vision and guiding their adoption of SAP’s Digital Core. This is a senior, customer‑facing role with strategic impact across presales, deal strategy, and partner enablement. You will be the go‑to expert for all solution‑related questions within the sales cycle, ensuring SAP’s value proposition is clearly articulated and consistently reinforced across all touchpoints.

  • Deal Strategy & Customer Engagement
  • Drive discovery, qualification, and solution strategy for key opportunities across industries.
  • Deliver high‑impact presentations and demos of SAP Cloud ERP Finance (AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, Receivables Management, etc.).
  • Lead digital discovery engagements, roadmap assessments, and cloud readiness workshops.
  • Present SAP’s competitive differentiation and showcase innovations (Business AI, Sustainability, Industry Best Practices).
  • Create memorable, insight‑driven customer experiences through strong storytelling, preparation, and demo excellence.
  • Provide both standard and customized solution demonstrations that bring SAP solutions to life and show customers the value of SAP.
  • Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events to identify and qualify new opportunities.
  • Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine investment required for strategic pursuits.
  • Engage customers throughout the lifecycle to reinforce SAP’s vision and support adoption & renewal readiness.
Market & Business Development
  • Participate in demand generation initiatives to support pipeline creation for SAP Cloud ERP
  • Represent SAP at marketing and industry events.
  • Drive adoption of digital assets and presales tools.
  • Leverage digital content from the Global Digital Content Factory in all customer engagements (demos, presentations, assets).
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to build compelling storylines and competitive differentiation.
Partner Ecosystem Enablement
  • Mentor and educate partners to strengthen their presales and solution capabilities.
  • Support partner-led opportunities to scale SAP presence in the Italian market.
  • Effectively transition pre‑sales engagement to SAP Services or Implementation Partners for seamless customer deployment.
Sales Enablement
  • Lead enablement sessions for Sales teams across EMEA.
  • Provide domain expertise in Finance processes and cloud transformation best practices.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader within Account Teams and contribute to account strategy.
  • Conduct vigorous dry runs for strategic customer engagements to ensure high‑quality execution.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in accounting, Finance, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Certified or trained in SAP Cloud ERP Finance.
  • Strong understanding of Italian statutory requirements (Fatturazione Elettronica, electronic reporting, tax compliance).
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP solutions, Cloud ERP, or relevant Lines of Business.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS, and PaaS models in a Business-to-Business environment.
  • Proven ability to engage and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and translate them into tailored solutions.
  • Passion for storytelling – crafting engaging narratives and compelling presentations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
