A high-tech consultancy company in Milan is seeking a Software Test Engineer to define and execute testing strategies for industrial systems. Ideal candidates will have a Master's in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, along with 2+ years of experience in R&D. Proficiency in Postman, SQL, and Linux is required, along with good communication skills in Italian and English. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in an R&D environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of working alone and within teams.
• Methodical and organized approach.

About This Vacancy

Working in an Engineering team, you will be involved in the design and implementation of the overall testing strategy of complex industrial systems.

Purpose Of The Role

• Define testing overall strategy
• Execute testing activities in accordance to agreed schedule and project deadlines
• Establish priorities and report on risks
• Analyze results and produce technical reports

What We Expect From You

• M. Sc in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in an R&D environment
• Knowledge of Postman, SQL and working on linux environment
• Knowledge of languages for instrument programming and shell scripting
• Knowledge of testing automation and containerization (docker) would be a plus
• Self-motivated and capable of working alone and within teams
• Good written and oral communication skills to allow effective communication with peers, managers and customers
• Ability to work in multicultural teams
• Methodical and organized approach
• Good command of Italian and English language
• Availability to work on-site 5 days a week
• Availability to travel and relocate for medium to long periods is a plus
• Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC
