Wipro Limited is seeking a Software/Test Automation Engineer to join a hybrid team working with client offices in Italy. The role focuses on data post-processing, GUI design, and maintaining Python-based frameworks for automated testing.

You will collaborate with engineers to build scalable test systems and contribute to FPGA-enabled solutions. The position requires strong Python skills, data visualization capabilities, and good communication.

Position: Software/Test Automation Engineer (All Genders)

Work Setting: Hybrid work model (Client office 3 days a week in office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Post-processing and Analysis: Master data post-processing techniques, including generating static and dynamic graphs/charts, creating comprehensive reports (Word and web-based), and enabling efficient navigation on row data for visualisation, editing, cutting, and merging
• Framework and Repository Maintenance: Contribute to the Python architectural restructure of existing frameworks and instruments driver repositories, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• GUI Design: Develop user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for test automation systems, enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
• Asset Location Tracking: Implement automated asset location tracking systems, interfacing with server APIs and funnelling information from various sources to optimise resource management.
• Develop Automated Test Systems: Utilise your expertise in Python deep learning, engineering Python libraries, and FPGA to design and implement advanced automated test systems.

Required skills:

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming language, with a deep understanding of engineering libraries.
• Strong skills in data post-processing, visualisation, and reporting.
• Ability to design and implement GUI applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in FPGA development
• Experience in hardware validation and test automation for consumer electronics products.
• Knowledge of web-based reporting technologies.
