Hire Feed is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software systems for platform services. The role emphasizes full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and driving architectural decisions for reliability and security.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions, lead code reviews, and help optimize production systems in a remote-friendly setup based in Pistoia, Tuscany (Italy).

Competenze

• 5+ years of software engineering with Python/Java/Go.
• Experience building and deploying microservices on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable software systems to support platform operations. The position requires expertise in full-stack development and cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance software solutions for platform services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and optimize performance.
• Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews for junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong background in building and deploying microservices on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in databases, including SQL and NoSQL, with a focus on performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and experience with caching mechanisms.
• Ability to debug and profile applications to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
