Job summary

Inpeco è leader mondiale nell’automazione dei laboratori clinici e cerca un Software Engineer per progettare soluzioni software che controllano dispositivi automatizzati, garantendo prestazioni e scalabilità.

La posizione richiede 3+ anni di esperienza, competenze in C/C++, Embedded, RTOS e CANbus, nonché conoscenze TCP/IP. Verrà collaborato con team hardware e meccatronica presso la sede di Val della Torre (Torino).

Qualifications

• Laurea in Automazione, Ingegneria Informatica o Elettronica.
• Almeno 3 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo software per automazione.
• Esperienza con sistemi embedded e RTOS (FreeRTOS).
• Conoscenza CANbus/CANOpen e protocolli TCP/IP.
• Progettazione orientata agli oggetti e unit testing.
• Conoscenza GIT, Jira o Bitbucket.
• Capacità di leggere schemi elettrici e pneumatici.
• Modellazione UML o simili.
• Forte problem solving e debugging.

Responsibilities

• Progettare e sviluppare software per sistemi di automazione e robotica.
• Integrare robot industriali e sistemi di visione.
• Sviluppare applicazioni di controllo con C e C++.
• Sviluppare applicazioni di controllo con C# e .NET.
• Conoscenza del framework .NET 8.0.
• Programmazione multi-threaded basata su eventi.
• Lavorare su sistemi mission-critical con servizi distribuiti.
• Lavorare con RTOS come FreeRTOS.
• Implementare protocolli CANbus industriali.
• Collaborare con ingegneria hardware e meccatronica.
• Eseguire testing e commissioning presso i clienti.
• Creare e mantenere documentazione tecnica.

Posizione

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions that control and connect automated devices, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for automation and robotic systems
• Integrate industrial robots and vision systems
• Develop control applications using C and C++
• Develop control applications using high-level programming languages (C#)
• Familiarity with the .NET 8.0 framework
• Experience with event driven, multi-threaded programming
• Work with complex mission critical systems, employing concurrent, distributed services
• Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS), especially FreeRTOS
• Implement industrial communication protocols, with a focus on CANbus
• Collaborate closely with hardware and mechatronics engineering teams
• Execute system testing and commissioning at customer sites
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requisiti

We are looking for candidates with the following skills :

• Degree in Automation, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in software development for automation
• Experience with embedded systems
• Real time OS (especially FreeRTOS)
• CANbus/CANOpen
• C/C++
• Proven experience with object oriented design and unit testing
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and the most common networking protocols
• Experience with scm tools like GIT and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Bitbucket)
• Ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics
• UML or other software/solution modeling skill
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills;

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine vision systems
• Familiarity with simulation environments (e.g. Gazebo, V-REP, RoboDK)
• Understanding of distributed or real-time software architectures
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with principles of cybersecurity
