Job summary

Inpeco cerca un Software Engineer per contribuire al design e all’implementazione di soluzioni software che controllano dispositivi automatizzati. L’obiettivo è garantire prestazioni, affidabilità e scalabilità presso i sistemi robotici.

La posizione richiede esperienza con embedded, RTOS (FreeRTOS) e CANbus, conoscenze di C/C++ e integrazione con robotica e visione artificiale. Provate a dare il massimo con team interdisciplinari.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of software development experience for automation.
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time OS (FreeRTOS).
• Proficient in C/C++ and CANbus/CANOpen.
• Familiar with TCP/IP and networking protocols.
• Experience with SCM tools like GIT and collaboration tools (Jira, Bitbucket).
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• UML or software modeling skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for automation and robotic systems.

• Familiarity with the .NET 8.0 framework; event-driven, multi-threaded programming.

• Execute system testing and commissioning at customer sites.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Posizione:

As a Software Engineer , you will contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions that control and connect automated devices, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for automation and robotic systems
• Integrate industrial robots and vision systems
• Develop control applications using C and C++
• Develop control applications using high-level programming languages (C#)
• Familiarity with the .NET 8.0 framework
• Experience with event driven, multi-threaded programming
• Work with complex mission critical systems, employing concurrent, distributed services
• Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS), especially FreeRTOS
• Implement industrial communication protocols, with a focus on CANbus
• Collaborate closely with hardware and mechatronics engineering teams
• Execute system testing and commissioning at customer sites
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requisiti:

• Degree in Automation, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in software development for automation
• Experience with embedded systems
• Real time OS (especially FreeRTOS)
• CANbus/CANOpen
• C/C++
• Proven experience with object oriented design and unit testing
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and the most common networking protocols
• Experience with scm tools like GIT and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Bitbucket)
• Ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics
• UML or other software/solution modeling skill
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills;

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine vision systems
• Familiarity with simulation environments (e.g. Gazebo, V-REP, RoboDK)
• Understanding of distributed or real-time software architectures
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with principles of cybersecurity
