What You'll Do

• Design and build robust, scalable backend systems to power our AI algorithms and applications.
• Work closely with the web crawling and AI team to develop indexing pipelines and guide data acquisition strategies.
• Craft scalable and efficient data structures to organize vast amounts of legal data.
• Rapidly prototyping and building software to improve, automate, or speed up internal processes.
• Follow best practices, coding conventions, and code review processes to maintain high-quality code.

What You'll Bring

• Solid experience with Python is essential.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience with full-text search, vector databases, or similar scalable search systems.
• A zeal for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies in the rapidly evolving field of NLP and ML.
• Knowledge of ML and AI is not required but preferred.
