Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. Desio cerca uno sviluppatore software C++ con esperienza per lavorare in ambienti Windows e Linux, definire e accelerare soluzioni edge‑to‑cloud e contribuire al layer REST.

Il candidato ideale ha laurea in informatica o ingegneria e almeno 4 anni di esperienza con C++, embedded e applicazioni server ad alte prestazioni; conoscenze in AWS/GCP/Azure o OpenStack e buona padronanza dell'inglese. Orario ibrido.

Qualifications

• Laurea in Informatica o Ingegneria (CSE) richiesta.
• Almeno 4 anni di esperienza come software engineer in C++ su Linux/Windows.
• Esperienza sviluppo applicazioni embedded/server high-performance e scalabili.
• Conoscenza di C++ ( C++20 preferito ), Boost, STL.
• Sistemi real-time, IPC, multi-threading.
• Embedded cross-platform development.
• Esperienza su cloud platforms (AWS, GCloud, Azure, OpenStack).
• Conoscenza basi dati e redes, protocolli (UDP/TCP/HTTP).
• Ambiente Agile (SCRUM).
• Progettazione orientata agli oggetti e pattern di design.
• Qualità tramite testabilità automatizzata (BDD).
• Buone capacità di comunicazione in inglese.
• Desiderabile: YOCTO, Docker/K8s.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, e debug di applicazioni C++ su Windows e Linux.
• Progettare e implementare servizi e componenti per edge-to-cloud.
• Contribuire al REST-based service layer e normalizzare l'ambiente di esecuzione (embedded vs cloud).
• Aiutare migrazione da Yocto/Linux embedded a cloud-native.
• Definire architetture di deployment (container-based o cloud-native).
• Supportare il team nella risoluzione di problemi clienti.
• Sviluppare e contribuire alla high-level design strategy per progetti chiave.

Opportunità

The candidate is able to:

• Design, develop, test, and debug C++ applications in Windows and Linux environments;
• Design and implement services and components that enable edge-to-cloud integration;
• Contribute to the evolution of our REST-based service layer, decoupling it from the underlying runtime environment (embedded vs. cloud);
• help and participate in the migration of existing applications from Yocto/Linux embedded systems to cloud-native environments;
• Define and implement deployment architectures (container-based and/or cloud-native);
• help the team in resolving customer issues;
• Develop and contribute to the high-level design strategy for key projects.

Competenze ed esperienza

Requirements
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer Science);
• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer in Linux or Windows C++ Dev;
• Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and highly available embedded and/or server applications;
• Experience in the development of client/server applications in C++ (desirable knowledge of C++20 features, Boost, STL);
• Real-time operating systems, inter-process communication and multi-threaded applications;
• Embedded system development, cross platform development;
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OpenStack);
• Familiarity with databases systems and languages;
• Knowledge of networking protocols and tools (e.g. UDP/IP, TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP/RTP, Wireshark, Fiddler, …);
• Experience in an Agile software development environment (SCRUM);
• Object-oriented design and design patterns;
• Ensure ever-increasing quality through enhanced testability and test automation (BDD);
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Fluent English.

DESIDERABLE ASSETS

• Familiarity with YOCTO;
• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, K8s).
