A global mobility company is seeking an experienced Software Designer to lead the design of software tools for international engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in C#, knowledge of the .NET ecosystem, and a proactive attitude. This position is based in Bologna or Bari, Italy, and offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a diverse team environment.

As a software designer on the system tools & automation team, you will lead the design of software tools and platforms for both national and international engineering projects. Your role encompasses all phases of software production, including functional analysis, architecture definition, technology selection, development, code versioning, and technical documentation.
You may also be involved in the development of pilots or applications utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), as well as leveraging Office 365 platforms like PowerApps and Power Automate. Additionally, you will participate in meetings with colleagues from various departments and clients to help achieve project milestones. Additionally, you may work on specialized IT platforms and electronic devices, such as those used for train diagnostics. Your key responsibilities will include defining product requirements, engaging in technical discussions with suppliers, and managing product lifecycles in both national and international contexts.
As part of the team, you will also take on training responsibilities, sometimes as a trainee and other times as a trainer.
Educated to University Degree level.
The job position is based in Bologna or Bari, Italy.
