RINA is recruiting for a Software Application Engineer in Rome , within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The role involves software engineering tasks such as system requirements analysis, software requirements definition, solution design, interfacing with System Engineering and Leonardo Labs, verification, and validation. The goal is to carry out a technological maturation study and develop a demonstrator for the Italian Air Force.

Key Accountabilities

• Technical project management
• Technical interface with client and development team
• Software design, including requirement definition and architecture
• Support in verification and validation phases

Qualifications

Required skills include experience with microservice architectures (Docker, Kubernetes), communication systems (REST APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ), modern UI development (React, Vue.js, Angular), security standards (OIDC, OAuth), HTTP protocol, Matlab, Symulink, DIS protocol, and CI / CD pipelines (GitLab, Jira, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker Registry).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
