A leading international organization in Rome is seeking a Social Infrastructure Finance Specialist. The role involves supporting the core team in the implementation of an EIB project focusing on social infrastructure projects in health and education. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in English and Italian. This position is set to begin on December 1, 2025, with a duration of 15 months.

Competenze

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in health and education projects.
• Strong understanding of ESF+ / ERDF policy context.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.

is leading a consortium for the preparation of a proposal for the EIB project: ESF+ ERDF EU-wide market assessment studies for the 2028+ Programming Period and is searching for non-key experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Overall objective

of the project is building on the long-standing cooperation between the EC and EIB, and the vast experience accumulated in the context of fi-compass on the implementation of FIs. The present assignment aims at providing support to the 27 EU MS and relevant MAs in the justification and design of FIs to be financed by EU funding instruments under shared management in the 2028+ programming period.

Start date : 1 December 2025.

Duration : 15 months

Requirements

• Education at least Master’s Degree level or higher
• ≥ 8 years in social infra (health, education) projects.
• Experience in blending grants and FIs.
• Understanding of ESF+ / ERDF policy context.
• Very good command of English and Italian.
