Freudenberg Group is seeking an IT Security Analyst in Italy to monitor security events, perform triage, and assist in incident response. You will work with on-site IT and security teams to contain and remediate incidents, document findings, and contribute to ongoing improvements.

Ideal candidates have early IT security exposure, a degree in a relevant field, and strong analytical and communication skills. English is mandatory; German is a plus.

Competenze

• First experience in IT, IT security, or a SOC environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of common cyber attack techniques and indicators of compromise.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT (networks, OS, cloud) and security tools.
• Ability to analyze logs; basic scripting/query (KQL/SQL/PowerShell) is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a process-driven environment and learn.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; fluent English; German a plus.

Mansioni

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from detection systems.
• Triagae, classify, and assess severity of alerts by potential impact.
• Investigate incidents using playbooks and document findings.
• Escalate complex incidents to Cyber Security Engineers or Rapid Response.
• Coordinate containment and remediation with on-site IT and infra teams.
• Maintain accurate incident documentation for traceability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with feedback and handovers.
