EssilorLuxottica in Agordo, Italy, is seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Smart Eyewear project. You will drive 3D CAD development, collaborate with industrial designers and UX teams, and help move concepts from idea to mass production.

The role requires a mechanical engineering or industrial design background, Creo/Windchill experience, and a proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while traveling to Milan as needed.

Competenze

• Educational Background in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design.
• Knowledge of Parametric 3D CAD software, preferably Creo.
• Knowledge of Windchill or similar PDM system.
• Experience in Injection molding design and process.
• 3+ years in mechanical design or mold design.
• DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, GD&T, 3D/2D CAD experience.
• Knowledge of materials and design for manufacturing and assembly.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and autonomous work style.

Mansioni

• Develop and act as reference for complex mechanical solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Design, build, test, and refine prototypes and test systems.
• Push state-of-the-art approaches to solve mechanical problems.
• Cover the full product development cycle from idea to finalization.
• Collaborate with industrial designers, UX, quality, and manufacturing.
