Job summary

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Site Quality Manager in Italy to lead QA, Food Safety and Sanitation at the plant. You will manage audits, CAPA cycles and regulatory compliance while driving improvements with lean methods and a strong people‑or‑development focus.

The role requires a master’s degree in a related field, 8+ years in food safety, and English proficiency. Permanent contract and a structured, safety‑driven work culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree in relevant science and extensive food safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of QA, Food Safety and Sanitation in the plant.
• Lead audits, inspections, and CAPA actions.
• Drive continuous improvement via lean principles and CAPEX planning.
• Oversee product labeling review and batch release.
• Develop and implement site masterplan for highest plant performance.
