A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking a Site Manager to coordinate daily activities on site and ensure compliance with technical standards. The role includes planning work, managing teams of labourers and ensuring quality adherence to specifications. Candidates should have a technical diploma, relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. The position requires willingness to travel throughout the country and knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily activities on site, ensuring compliance with the schedule and technical standards. They will plan the work and manage execution times, monitoring progress and resolving any issues. They will manage site personnel, supervise teams of labourers, welders, pipe fitters, carpenters and mechanical fitters, optimising the allocation of resources. You will verify the correct execution of the work based on technical drawings, diagrams and specifications. You will collaborate with the Project Manager, the Technical Office and the client’s Works Management to ensure that the work is in line with the projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will manage the technical documentation for the construction site (reports, work reports, permits, lifting plans, etc.), verify supplies and stocks of materials and construction site equipment. You will guarantee the quality of the work and compliance with technical and contractual regulations.
