The role involves conducting site surveys, providing technical support, and ensuring adherence to electrical designs during solar park construction. Candidates should have a BSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of solar systems, and fluency in English and Italian. This position offers a chance to contribute to a sustainable future.

• Conduct pre-condition site surveys.

Role

Electrical Site Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN.

Responsibilities

• Pre-condition site surveys
• Initial site setup and establishment (supported by the HSE site manager)
• Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team and other project members
• Ensure correct implementation of electrical drawings by the main subcontractor
• Supervise subcontractors schedule and works
• Report to the project manager any deviations from the PoW or scope by the subcontractors
• Assist the team with the construction flow and timetable

What You Bring To The Role

• BSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering. MSc in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering is considered an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of solar power systems, electrical design, and relevant codes and standards
• Proven track record (2–5 years) in the construction of solar parks is considered an advantage
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and civil construction drawings is essential
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
