Siemens is seeking an experienced Teamcenter Configuration Consultant to support the ESA at ESRIN in Frascati, Italy. You will translate business needs into PLM solutions, manage data, and drive lifecycle management through Teamcenter in a space-engineering context.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver data models, workflows, integrations, and training, ensuring quality and compliant configurations across projects.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience administering, configuring or implementing Siemens Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of PLM principles and processes.
• Experience with Teamcenter workflows, lifecycle management, metadata and access controls.
• Experience with product data and engineering configuration management.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration and data migration.

Shape the future of product lifecycle management in the European space sector

We are looking for an experienced Siemens Teamcenter System Configuration Consultant to take ownership of the Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform supporting the European Space Agency (ESA) at its ESRIN site in Frascati, Italy. You will be a strong fit if you combine hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience with a solid understanding of PLM and engineering processes.

You will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders and technical specialists to translate business and engineering requirements into effective PLM solutions that improve product data management, engineering processes, configuration control and lifecycle management.

What you will do

You will contribute to the full lifecycle of the Teamcenter solution, including:

• Analyse business and engineering requirements and translate them into Teamcenter solutions.
• Design and configure Teamcenter data models, workflows, lifecycle processes, metadata, roles and access controls.
• Configure and maintain Teamcenter objects, business rules and product lifecycle processes.
• Develop and maintain Teamcenter customisations and workflow solutions.
• Support product data management, configuration management and engineering change processes.
• Design and support integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise and engineering systems.
• Support CAD and engineering-system integrations where required.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation and issue resolution.
• Define and execute functional, integration, performance and user acceptance testing.
• Support deployment preparation, production releases and post-release activities.
• Investigate system issues and coordinate their resolution with technical teams and stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience administering, configuring or implementing Siemens Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles and processes.
• Experience with Teamcenter workflows, lifecycle management, metadata, data models and access controls.
• Experience with product data and engineering configuration management.
• Knowledge of enterprise application integration and data migration.
• Experience with system testing, validation and deployment activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and deliver user training.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with BMIDE (Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment).
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD or other engineering applications.
• Experience in aerospace, space, defence, automotive, manufacturing or other engineering-intensive industries.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter customisation, scripting or automation.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, ITIL or other software delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise PLM implementations or transformation projects.
• Project management certification or experience supporting implementation projects.
