Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Suisio, Italy, seeks a Service Technician to ensure quality welding, repair and non-conformity handling on site. You will train welding personnel and support welding equipment specifications while coordinating with engineers and production teams.

The role requires strong welding knowledge, ability to work under tight schedules, and good communication in English or Italian to liaise with multinational teams.

Competenze

• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII and TEMA standards.
• Ability to interpret non-destructive tests such as PT/UT/MT/RT.
• Knowledge of welding specifications (WPS/PQR) and verifying WPQ.
• Ability to coordinate local teams of technicians and subcontractors.

Mansioni

• Secure necessary actions in case non-conformities with customer requirements have been detected.
• Lead and guide repair and rework activities.
• Coordinate with engineers and TM for Kaizen/A4 initiatives and welding related tasks.
• Assist in verifying welding quality during manufacturing processes.
• Train welders and welding operators per welding engineer/TM arrangements.
• Contribute to welding equipment and fixture/tool specifications.
