Gi Group SpA Filiale di Trieste, on behalf of an international industry leader, is hiring Service Engineers/Technicians to join the growing service team in Trieste. You will work with modern marine equipment providing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and upgrades across locations.

We welcome hands-on engineers or technicians from manufacturing, heavy industry, marine, energy or related sectors who can read technical drawings, communicate in English, and travel as needed.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or mechatronic systems.
• Qualification, apprenticeship, diploma, or degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to read technical documentation and drawings.
• Willingness to travel for site visits.

Mansioni

• Perform service, maintenance, refurbishment, and upgrade activities on advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation.

Are you a hands-on engineer or technician who enjoys solving complex technical challenges?

We are recruiting on behalf of an international industry leader looking for Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Maintenance Engineers and Technicians to join their growing service team.

Whether your experience comes from manufacturing, heavy industry, marine, automotive, energy, rail, industrial machinery, or related sectors, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will work with modern marine equipment, providing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and upgrade services while supporting customers across various locations.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform service, maintenance, refurbishment, and upgrade activities on advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
• Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues to deliver high-quality technical solutions

What We’re Looking For:

You may be a great fit if you have:

• Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, mechatronic, or industrial equipment
• A qualification, apprenticeship, diploma, degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel as part of the role

Nice to Have:

• Experience in marine, offshore, industrial machinery, heavy equipment, energy, manufacturing, or related environments
• Experience with maintenance, field service, commissioning, or technical support activities
