DID S.r.l. is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for a near-site assignment with a European Institution in Ispra (VA), Italy. The role covers hosting platform management, middleware servers, file-sharing, identity & security services, and automation.

You will contribute to design and rollout of new projects while performing day-to-day operations. Required: 22+ years IT experience, English B2+, and experience across WebLogic, Tomcat, OpenShift, Ansible, and security services.

Competenze

Minimum qualification: secondary degree giving access to higher education and at least 22 years of IT professional experience.
English language at B2 level or higher, spoken and written.
No security clearance or certifications required.
CV must clearly show years of experience per area, cross-referenced to professional experiences.
Experience in middleware, file-sharing, enterprise systems, security, databases, DevOps, containers and automation.
Knowledge of monitoring with PRTG or similar is a plus.

Mansioni

Architect, configure, patch and harden WebLogic and Tomcat deployments.
Manage file-sharing services (e.g., ownCloud) with S3 storage and Redis.
Design fault-tolerant enterprise systems and IdP/hybrid cloud solutions.
Implement security controls: PKI/SSO/OIDC/JWT, WAF, reverse proxies.
Support GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and health checks.
Contribute to new hosting projects and services while sustaining daily operations.
