A leading engineering company in Genoa is looking for a Senior Vendor Management professional. The role involves maintaining vendor records, scouting potential suppliers, and coordinating with business teams to ensure efficient vendor management processes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, and must be fluent in English.

Competenze

• 3 to 5 years of experience in vendor management roles.
• Erasmus or exchange experiences are a plus.
• Master or internship in Supply Chain is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Document and maintain vendor and contractor records.
• Maintain the vendors database as per business needs.
• Scout suppliers for underrepresented business areas.

Job description

• Document and maintain electronic vendor and contractor records;
• Ensure the maintenance of vendors database in line with business needs;
• Scout potential suppliers for business areas that lack them;
• Ensure an impartial supplier qualification process by coordinating the internal stakeholders belonging to all company teams;
• Collaborate with disparate business groups to coordinate vendor related activities;
• Implement and optimise vendors management processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply chain management or similar fields;
• 3/5 years in the same positions mentioned above;
• Erasmus or exchange experiences is a plus, as well as internship or Master in Supply Chain field;
• Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value;
• Responsibility and precision for details;
• Candidates should be open-minded, humble, courageous, determined, and capable of working in a team with flexibility;
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and excellent communication skills;
• Motivation to work in a multicultural and challenging.
