Prometeia in Bologna is seeking a System Administrator to join its ICT Department. You will be the second-level reference for the company’s infrastructure, handling escalations from first-level support and contributing to the evolution of IT systems, with duties spanning servers, networks, backups and security.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in a scientific field and at least five years’ experience in networking and infrastructure projects, plus hands-on skills in Windows and Linux,

Competenze

• Master's degree in a scientific field is required.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in networking and infrastructure.

Mansioni

• Manage server infrastructure (Windows and Linux) and virtualization environments.
• Oversee networking, firewalling, and security activities.
• Manage backup, replication, disaster recovery, monitoring and observability.
• Automate tasks via scripting and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible and Terraform).
• Support AI workloads and adoption of AI-based tools within IT processes.
• Handle escalations and produce documentation for first-level teams.
